During his speech at the ceremony, Minister Tekin said, "We have been in Mauritania for two days, and in every place we visited, we heard the phrase 'Welcome to your second homeland.' There could be no more beautiful sentence for a guest. I would like to sincerely thank all our friends who welcomed us in this way."
Tekin continued his remarks as follows:
"Following the instructions of our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are here to take steps that will give new momentum to Türkiye-Mauritania relations. We know that the President of Mauritania, Mr. Ghazouani, shares the same view. As ministers, we also aspire to develop these relations from our respective positions."
Tekin stated that during the engagements in Mauritania, agreements were signed to enhance relations and to commit to the progress reached, and that the established commission continues its work. He said, "We are currently at the certificate ceremony marking the beginning of one of the concrete areas where we can cooperate in this regard."
Tekin continued his speech as follows: "Türkiye has now become one of the world's prominent tourism destinations, both in terms of facilities and the service sector. As the Ministry of National Education, we have had a modest share in this achievement. We have accumulated significant expertise in the field of vocational education, and we are ready to share it. Inshallah, this ceremony will be a good start to that. I would like to thank everyone who has contributed to this process and all those who will contribute in the future."
At the ceremony, certificates were awarded to 61 Mauritanian trainees who successfully completed their training.
